Bio
Melvin Gray is a Houston-based photographer/videographer with a particular focus on editorial, commercial and lifestyle projects. Adeptly jumping between these forms of both photography and video, which he’s been practicing since early school age. Melvin's goal is to create a reputation for excellence and trusted resource for my clients. His images are therefore diverse and multifaceted, capturing joy, pain, triumph and everything in between.

My approach to photography is simple – tell the story. Whether I am capturing family remembrances, a building, or a marketing campaign – what is the story?

Interests
Business owner, husband, and father to the cutest kids in the world - no offense! My interest in photography began when I was grade school once I picked up my first disposable camera. I became hooked on photography while working on my school's newspaper and yearbook. My passion for photography grew as I discovered different aspects of photography and videography while in high school.
Throughout college I had a number of different internships and photography-related positions. I gained working knowledge of lighting systems and increased my ability to capture the decisive moment.
